Keeping busy during lockdown!

A customer needed their cane furniture recovered as it was badly sun damaged. They were delighted with the transformation.
I really enjoyed making a difference and giving new life to a good cane frame.

Other ways I have been keeping busy at Woodstock are by making improvements to my garden and meadow, planting lots of fruit and veg in my potting shed and raised beds and redecorating where needed the inside of Woodstock Cottage and the outside of Woodstock Retreat.

I have my son George with me during the lockdown period which I love – he is trying to teach me piano – he is very patient. That along with weaving each day, walking Tosca, my black labrador, and keeping up with maintenance and sewing jobs make each day rewarding and purposeful. I cannot wait to welcome guests again though – good things are better for sharing and it has been very beautiful here this Spring.

To all past and future guests, stay well, stay safe and stay home wherever possible and I hope to welcome you back to Woodstock before too long.
